georgie’s barber & scissor + comb

Since June 2025, I've created video content for Georgie's Barbershop and Scissor + Comb, two sister salons in Takoma Park, MD. I cold-called Cortney, one of the owners, on Instagram asking if she'd ever want help with video, and the rest was…well, the reels you see below. I create video content that captures the energy and artistry of both shops, saving the owners time while improving their online presence. I love filming in these spaces - the conversations, the transformations, the way each shop has its own vibe while sharing that same familial, creative energy. It's easy to make content when you're documenting artists at work.
